Clifford has over 28 years technical & commercial management experience within the aviation industry. Prior to forming IASG, he was a Director of IBA and shareholder in MBA Intl. for 6 years. He has been involved with all sides of aircraft ownership as lessee, lessor and consultant.
He previously worked for Fortis Aviation, (aircraft remarketing company), responsible for commercial relations; IAS (Irish Lessor), responsible for the technical management of assets on lease to airlines, FLAS Aerospace where he set up the Fortis Asset Management Services and IBA where he managed and developed the sales and marketing function.
He holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of East Anglia in Cambridge and has held company approvals on various large commercial jet aircraft and UK CAA Licences Without Type Ratings. He is a qualified ISTAT Certified Appraiser and is currently pursuing certification under the American Society of Appraisers.

David commenced his aviation career in 1978 with the UK Royal Air Force as an Aircraft Propulsion Technician and later joined British Airways as a Technical Team Leader with Approvals on B747-100/200 Airframe, JT9D and RB211-524 Engines, B747-400 Airframe and RB211-524G/H Series Engines at Heathrow. David then moved to British Airways Maintenance Cardiff. David then took over as Production Manager at Manx Airlines / British Regional in the Isle of Man holding approvals on ATP, EMB145, Dash 8, J41 and BAE146 / RJ Airframe and Engines as well as the Garrett TPE 331-14 and HS125-700. David has worked as the ATP / Dash 8 Technical Fleet Manager for British Airways Regional and has experience of regulatory, airworthiness compliance and technical record keeping.
David has attended many courses including the British Airways Total Quality Management & Facilitators Course and the Production and Planning Engineering Foundation Course. David completed his 12 years with British Airways and obtained his JAR 66 licence in August 2004. David is a core member of the IASG regional aircraft technical risk management team.
Stephen is responsible for the delivery standards and processes of technical record audits within the regional aircraft specialism in IASG. Stephen began his career in aviation in 1990 with British Aerospace (Commercial Aircraft), Prestwick before moving to Logan Air and later Manx Airlines culminating with being the Technical Records Manager at British Airways CitiExpress, Ronaldsway Airport, Ballasalla, Isle of Man. Stephen is custodian of a number of records audit databases and responsible for staff training on records and monitoring regulatory requirements and developments.
Andrew has spent over 30 years in the aviation service industry; he went to College to study for his Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence and subsequently converted to an EASA Part-66 B1. He has been trained on a diverse range of aircraft from light composite single and twin engine through executive jets to the latest wide body Airbus and Boeing fly-by-wire aircraft such as A330 and Boeing 777. Occupational training includes Aircraft Accident Investigation, Human Factors Instructor, Safety Management Systems and Andrew has a post graduate degree in Aviation Management.
Andrew has been a senior manager for many years including spells as Director of Quality and Safety for Corporate Jet, Royal Flight, Airline Operators and Maintenance Organisations (MROs). Andrew is experienced with new start AOC operations and has held Form 4 posts in the Far East, Middle East and the UK. Has experience in Flight Data Analysis, Safety Auditing as well as Continuing Airworthiness and aircraft lease redelivery. Military contracts took Andrew to Germany for work on behalf of the USAF and closer to home for the UK MOD both in Quality Management positions. He is a past member of the UK Flight Safety Committee and is a Member of the Royal Aeronautical Society having also been on the local committee of the UAE branch.
Ken is a licenced aircraft engineer with forty years of aviation engine experience gained in the UK and various locations around the world. Ken has most recently held the position of Engine Manager with a significant cargo operator based in the UK and prior to this was a supervisor inspector with various airlines and FLS Aerospace.
Ken has seven years experience as a GE Aircraft engines technical field service representative as well as five years at Avco Lycoming. Ken has worked for a number of airlines and has held the position of Chief Engineer with a freight operator. Ken began his career as an aircraft engineer with Laker Airways in the early 70's before working for a couple of years for Bristow Helicopters. Ken is our lead engine/power plant consultant and has significant experience in Pratt and Witney and Rolls Royce engine types.
Paul brings extensive planning and technical records experience to IASG and is responsible primarily for records auditing and operator Part M support throughout Europe.Working up from Planning Engineer with British Airways subsidiary, Brymon Airways, where Paul got his first experience of technical records, he went on to be responsible for introducing a new aircraft type into the JETS/Club 328 based in Southampton and then moved on to become one of the senior project planning engineers at Jet Aviation based in Geneva.
Paul managed a large fleet of business jet aircraft operated on a line and reward basis. During his career, Paul has become experienced in introducing or developing new MRO systems including RAL Enterprise, OASES, Amicos and AMOS. Paul has recently developed and delivered a training course for RAL Enterprise to the French Army air corps after supporting the implementation of the system, aided by his fluency in French. Following on from introducing this system into a European regional operator, Paul stayed on to develop and assist in the management of their Part M department.
Paul is an integral part of IASG’s Part M Sub part G and Sub part I operation and continues to support regional and business jet operators around the world.
