Clifford has over 26 years technical & commercial management experience within the aviation industry. Prior to forming IASG, he was a Director of IBA and shareholder in MBA Intl. for 6 years. He has been involved with all sides of aircraft ownership as lessee, lessor and consultant.
He previously worked for Fortis Aviation, (aircraft remarketing company), responsible for commercial relations; IAS (Irish Lessor), responsible for the technical management of assets on lease to airlines, FLAS Aerospace where he set up the Fortis Asset Management Services and IBA where he managed and developed the sales and marketing function.
He holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of East Anglia in Cambridge and has held company approvals on various large commercial jet aircraft and UK CAA Licences Without Type Ratings. He is a qualified ISTAT Certified Appraiser and is currently pursuing certification under the American Society of Appraisers.

Mervyn brings the benefits of over 38 years aviation experience, having completed 16 of those in the RAF as an Airframe Technician, following which he joined Monarch Aircraft Engineering. Deciding to widen and add to his experience, Mervyn went on to work for BAe Commercial Aircraft at Hatfield and left after 41/2 years as Manager Customer Support / Sales Support. He then joined FLS Aerospace in the Contracts Administration Department, and his last 3 years appointed in the role of Key Account Manager for KLM, KLM UK, Ryanair, Air Europa, Iberworld & Futura. Head hunted to join Aircraft Services Lemweder in Germany, Mervyn took up the role of General Manager Sales, and only left as a result of 9/11 and the effect it had on the business. To further enhance his varied experience within the industry, Mervyn joined debisAirFinance in Amsterdam as a VP Technical, and prior to the global reorganisation of AWAS, worked in its then London Office as Sales Support Manager.
David commenced his aviation career in 1978 with the UK Royal Air Force as an Aircraft Propulsion Technician and later joined British Airways as a Technical Team Leader with Approvals on B747-100/200 Airframe, JT9D and RB211-524 Engines, B747-400 Airframe and RB211-524G/H Series Engines at Heathrow. David then moved to British Airways Maintenance Cardiff. David then took over as Production Manager at Manx Airlines / British Regional in the Isle of Man holding approvals on ATP, EMB145, Dash 8, J41 and BAE146 / RJ Airframe and Engines as well as the Garrett TPE 331-14 and HS125-700. David has worked as the ATP / Dash 8 Technical Fleet Manager for British Airways Regional and has experience of regulatory, airworthiness compliance and technical record keeping.
David has attended many courses including the British Airways Total Quality Management & Facilitators Course and the Production and Planning Engineering Foundation Course. David completed his 12 years with British Airways and obtained his JAR 66 licence in August 2004. David is a core member of the IASG regional aircraft technical risk management team.
Stephen is responsible for the delivery standards and processes of technical records audits within the regional aircraft specialism in IASG. Stephen began is career in aviation with 1990 - 1992 British Aerospace (Commercial Aircraft), Prestwick before moving to Logan Air and later Manx Airlines culminating with being the Technical Records Manager at British Airways CitiExpress, Ronaldsway Airport, Ballasalla, Isle of Man. Stephen is custodian of a number of records audit databases and responsible for staff training on records and monitoring regulatory requirements and developments.
Ken brings a wealth of experience to IASG in dealing with regulatory and quality issues and is responsible for the development and compliance of IASG's Part M and Sub Part G Approvals and all aspects of the quality of services delivered to clients. Ken is IASG's focal point for all airworthiness certification and exercises and bridging aircraft from non-EASA to EASA certification standards. Ken's specialist skill set which has found favour with a number of clients is in operations management and supporting operators develop best practices to the benefit of the operator and the lessor alike. Ken has been involved in aviation throughout his working life, starting as an apprentice with British Aerospace in 1975, working his way through to inspector and Maintenance Planning Engineer before leaving to join Manx Airlines.
Ken holds licences for airframes and engines on BAE 146/RJ ,Embrear 145, BAe ATP, and Jetstream J41s. He also has a Batchelor of Science Honours Degree in Applied Social Sciences. During the 14 years Ken was with Manx he progressed from licensed engineer, to Production Manager, finally becoming Quality Process and Compliance Manager.
Andy Ogilvie - has joined IASG as Above Wing Services Director to head up a new business centre aimed at providing support across the full spectrum of components that make up the total inflight product experience from cabin comfort and galley performance through equipment design/sourcing for meal and beverage services, passenger amenities and the like, to onboard delivery namely galley loading instructions and cabin crew service routines. The support is modularised to allow clients, be they established carriers or start ups; to select only modules that are best suited to meet their needs. Andy has worked in the aviation industry for over 40 years primarily with British Airways in ground operations management activities around the world.
He has run a successful consultancy business specialising in inflight product design, development and delivery, the client base included new airline start ups and established national carriers and holds an MBA in logistics management from Cranfield Institute of Technology.
Paul is a qualified aircraft maintenance engineer with experience of most major aspects of commercial jet maintenance, maintenance management and commercial aircraft aoperation. He stated his career as a “Technician Apprentice” with the Ministry of Defence at RAF St Athan in South Wales, training predominantly on the then “fast jet” and tanker fleet of the RAF, F4 Phantoms, Harriers, Buccaneers and Hadley Page Victors. On completion of his apprenticeship Paul moved to work for 3 years at the Royal Aircraft Establishment in Farnborough as a “Design Draftsman” supporting research at the National Gas Turbine Research Establishment.
Paul started the commercial jet part of his career when he joined British Airways at Heathrow as an aircraft tradesman maintaining Boeing 757s and Concorde. In his 14 years at British Airways he qualified as a CAA Licensed Aircraft Engineer and an FAA mechanic. During this time Paul also graduated from Portsmouth University with a Masters Degree in Business Administration.
With the retirement of Concorde, Paul moved on to become the Night Shift, Shift Leader with Thomsonfly at Luton, responsible for the overnight maintenance of the Thomsonfly fleet of Boeing 757 and 767 aircraft. More recently Paul has worked as Liaison / Project Engineer with Flyjet and Project Manager / Deputy Engineering Director with Silverjet where working in a small team he shared responsibility for the maintenance management, and continued airworthiness of the fleet of Boeing 767. He also project managed the conversion of the aircraft from the high density seating layout into the Silverjet 102 passenger place, all Business Class arrangement.
